What should I do as soon as I receive my sink?
Please unpack and inspect your natural stone sink for any damage immediately
upon arrival. You should also double-check the measurements of your cabinet cutout to ensure your new bathroom vessel sink fits perfectly. If you notice any issues, do not attempt to install it, as this will void the warranty. Instead, contact us right away at support@shadesofnature.com.
Do you provide a cutting template for the countertop?
We do not include a physical template in the box. Because each handcrafted stone sink is uniquely artisan-made, individual dimensions can vary slightly. We highly recommend placing your physical countertop basin on paper to draw and cut your own precise template before modifying your bathroom vanity.
How do I ensure the sink is stable and completely leveled?
Before starting, check your bathroom countertop sink surface with a level to confirm it is completely flat in all directions. Once you apply the silicone and place the above counter sink, position a level across both sides before the sealant begins to dry. If it is not perfectly straight, you can loosen the drain and adjust your vessel sink until it sits level. For extra stability, you can also apply a small amount of silicone around the outer perimeter of the wash basin base.
How long does it take for the sealant to dry?
Once installation of your stone bathroom basin is complete and you have wiped away excess silicone, you must allow the sealant to dry completely for a full 24 hours before using the sink.

How should I clean my natural stone sink daily?
The best practice is to rinse your natural stone vessel sink thoroughly after every single use. For regular cleaning, always wet the sink surface first, add a mild dish soap or specialized stone sink cleaner, wipe gently with a soft cloth, and rinse completely with warm water.
What cleaning products should I avoid?
To protect your handcrafted bathroom basin, never use corrosive cleaners, ammonia, bleach, or acidic agents like lemon juice or citric acid. It is also important that you never let soap or toothpaste sit in the wash basin, as they can cause damage if left unrinsed.
Does the sink require any long-term maintenance?
Yes, every real stone basin requires simple routine maintenance to protect its beauty. We recommend polishing the surface monthly to create a protective barrier against stains. Additionally, you should seal your stone vessel sink every 1 to 2 years using a deep-penetrating stone impregnator.

What does the warranty cover and how long does it last?
Shades of Nature products include a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase, applying strictly to the original buyer. Please note that using any adhesive that is not 100% silicone during the installation of your luxury bathroom sink automatically voids this warranty.
